The Staff celebrated Bike To Work Month with a spirited bike ride along the Boardwalk in Newport Beach.

Hats off to Nick and Brittany for several 20 mile rides to work from Fullerton as well as Jonathan and Dan from their residences in Costa Mesa.

It was unanimous that the Bike to Lunch event should be held monthly.

MJS Celebrates the Groundbreaking Ceremony for Cabrillo Family Apartments in Torrance

Mark Schattinger and Project Manager Tolalf Larson attended the Groundbreaking Ceremony for Cabrillo Family Apartments in Torrance and are proud to part of the Meta Housing Design and Development Team to provide additional affordable housing to the South Bay region.  In attendance was the  Mayor and entire Torrance City Council as a testament to the importance of these projects.  We look forward to the ribbon cutting in February of 2015.

Three MJS affordable housing projects with our valued client AMCAL Multi-Housing  Inc. were recently featured in the OC Register.  In partnership with A Community of Friends the Grand Opening of the Vista del Rio Apartments in Santa Ana provides for 41 apartments for persons with special needs.  Earlier this year Avenida Villas in Anaheim had its Grand Opening providing for 29 apartments for persons with special needs.  Also featured in the article is a rendering of the soon to be approved Oceana Apartments in Huntington Beach.

MJS Attends the Ribbon Cutting for Birch Hills Affordable Apartment Homes

MJS congratulates Jamboree Housing Corp. and their community Partners on the Grand Opening of the Birch Hills Affordable Apartment Homes in Brea.  Adjacent to the Birch Hills Golf Course, the 115 garden-style apartment homes are within the new La Floresta master-planned Community.  The new property encompasses eight three-story buildings, and one recreation building, arranged around central courtyards, pool recreation area and linked by tree-lined pedestrian friendly landscaped walks.
